I fancy myself an amateur auto mechanic so you can guess how I felt about bringing my wife's car in for a strange noise in the suspension. Boy, were my initial emotions misplaced, because I was delighted with the services performed on the car due to their honesty and integrity. They even went above and beyond when they spent time at home searching for a solution on the internet instead of 'throwin darts' and replacing likely components. I was even cut a deal at the end of it!I've always been the kind of person to "replace it at home" when offered services at auto shops because I could never bring myself to trust anyone but the dealership to tell me the truth about my car (we all have to make a living somehow). But Southcross Auto Service has earned my respect and I genuinely trust them to perform work on my cars with my best interest in mind.

I was very pleased with all of the service I have received. They are very good at keeping me apprised of any new information or changes. They have also been very professional and have competitive pricing. I also truly appreciate their accuracy on time as I cannot stand having to repeatedly check-in not having my car back when expected so I can get on with my life. I will continue to be a repeat customer and recommend them to friends in the future.

I have been bringing our cars to Steve and his team for years and their service has been both professional and reliable. I appreciate how they inform me of what needs to be done now, what can wait to be done in the near future and what to keep on eye out for down the line....no pressure selling. I randomly got my oil done by Southcross and really enjoyed both the experience and the price. I recently had to get my brakes looked at, which turned into brakes and rotors replaced. I turned in my car at 9:30am and they were done with my back brakes by 11:00am!!!!!! such a quick turn around. I did get the opportunity to stay at the service center while my car was being fixed, it was very enjoyable. Overall, this will more than likely be my go to place for my car :) And i live in SLP!!

I have brought my family's cars to Steve now for over a year for many different issues. They have been able to diagnose and fix quickly. A simple job...replace headlight...connector was fried..electrical there, but not lighting bulb...electrical wiring always a mystery and time consuming...did they handle in a timely and efficient manner? Prices always seem to be fair and I can usually get a loaner if I call ahead. Most repairs are done in 24 hours. I’ve been very happy with the service at Southcross.

They evaluated the problems I had with my Jeep on two separate occasions for two separate problems. It was explained to me thoroughly what was wrong on both occasions and what it would cost to repair the problem. They understood that safety was a prime priority and that additional service was up for discussion. I was told of all the potential work that could be done and what it would cost. Both times were very honest appraisals and the work done was excellent and extremely swift. Fixed right the first time!!!

I have nothing but compliments for this place. I read about this place from the reviews. My girlfriend was having car troubles she wanted to take care of ASAP. They made her feel at ease. They looked into everything she requested and then some. When they were finished with her car they were honest with her about the vehicle, they recommended against doing any replacements prematurely. They got her car running great and it was affordable. What I appreciated most was how they didn't try to inflate prices, they didn't treat her as if she was unaware. I have seen MANY auto shops treat my SO as if they had no idea what was going on and feed misinformation. I brought my car in about two weeks later to get it serviced before a big road trip. I got the same experience, honesty. They ran through everything I had issues with, resolved them, even took the cost of the loaner vehicle off without me even saying anything. I am kinda shocked because I never expect that kinda of service from Auto Shops. So praise where praise is due. I will recommend this place to anyone that asks.

We have been taking our vehicles to Steve for over 30 years. His shop is the best independently owned repair shops in the south metro if not the Metro area. You will find him and his crew to be top notch and easy to work with. They are very fair with the repairs and will always work with you to make sure you are comfortable getting your car fixed - even though it is usually not the first thing folks want to be doing. He has nice loners to use if you repairs require it. His shop is not open on Saturday's but are open early in the morning and later in the evening. I highly recommend Southcross Auto for all your vehicle repairs or if you require an inspection on a vehicle your are thinking of buying.

Fantastic service, very friendly people, they really do take care of people. They really do understand how stressful it can be to have a vehicle in disrepair and be without transportation, they've made every effort to make the entire process as painless as possible, including providing a courtesy vehicle. They're affordable prices make them a great choice, but the peace of mind knowing that you have this fantastic group of people in your corner makes them invaluable in times of need. I couldn't recommend these guys highly enough!
